On September 11, 2019, at the invitation of Academician Yang Huayong, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University, Academician Hans Norgaard Hansen , Vice President of the International Institute of Production Engineering (CIRP) and Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Denmark visited our institute and conducted friendly exchanges. The forum was held and a wonderful academic report was made on September 12.
On the afternoon of the 11th, the exchange symposium was held in the 411 conference room of Yuquan Campus. The dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Academician Yang Huayong, Associate Dean Professor Ju Bingfeng , Chen Yuanliu, and Associate Professor Zhu Yi warmly received Academician Hans Norgaard Hansen and Associate Professor Yang Zhang. And friendly exchanges.
The two sides gave a detailed introduction on the overall situation of their respective colleges, education and teaching, scientific research, international exchanges and cooperation, and discussed aspects such as scientific research cooperation, student training and academic exchanges. The final exchange symposium ended in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
On the morning of the 12th, Academician Hans Norgaard Hansen gave a wonderful academic report entitled “Quality assurance in micro manufacturing” in Room 212 of the Shao Ke Pavilion. The report was hosted by Prof. Chen Yuanliu.
At the beginning of the report, Professor Chen Yuanliu delivered a speech and extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Academician Hans. Academician Hans is an internationally renowned expert in precision engineering and micro-nano manufacturing . His main research areas are micro-intelligence , including precision mechanical system design, quality assurance and metrology for micro-manufacturing process chains, multi-material additive manufacturing and precision. Quality control and other aspects.
Academician Hans gave a wonderful introduction from the shallower to the deeper. First, he showed everyone what microfabrication is, and then explained the difference between microfabrication and traditional mechanical manufacturing with practical examples, and explained the influence of size effect on mechanical manufacturing. Finally, it expounds some difficulties in the manufacture of machinery and the existing treatment methods. Under the leadership of Hans academicians, the students have benefited from the panoramic view of the micro-manufacturing field.
At the end of the report, the students took the time to actively ask questions from Academician Hans. The academician Hans knew all the questions of the students and said nothing, so the questions of the students were well answered.
