Earth pressure in the working chamber dynamic balancing technique is originated to solve the stratum instability and ground subsidence problems.
Shield machine design technique based on compliance analysis is originated, reduced the impact force and keep the shield machine away from malfunction caused by impact force.
A new posture rectification technique is proposed, with which the accuracy of the tunnel axis can be improved by prediction in tunneling.
The above key technologies have been applied on 290 sets of shield machines which played key roles in more than 300 shield construction projects. Significant social and economic benefits are achieved.

Based on these technologies, 77 invention patents were authorized, 16 software were registered, 2 national or industrial standards were made,3Books were published, and more than 190 papers were included by SCI or EI. 3 projects won the first prize in the provincial science and technology, an item got the gold medal in the international industrial fair, and a patent was awarded in the China excellent patent.
