Brief Bio:
Dr. QingHui Yuan received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2006. Dr. QingHui Yuan is a well-known expert in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering (fluid drive and control) in the United States and has worked at Eaton Hydraulics (US headquarters). Eaton is a leading global power management company with many of the world's leading technologies in the industrial sector dedicated to helping customers use electricity, fluid power and mechanical power more efficiently, safely and more reasonably. With an annual output value of $23 billion, it is among the top 500 in the world. Dr. QingHui Yuan leads Eaton Hydraulics' global research and development of advanced technologies, launching a series of innovative solutions in hydraulic components, hydraulic systems, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, ocean drilling, injection molding machines, compressed natural gas, advanced materials, and 3D metal printing. His outstanding contributions have earned him a series of awards such as Eaton’s Global Engineer of the Year and outstanding technical contributions. He also serves as the core of the industry advisory committee, guiding the research direction of the nation's only "integrated energy efficient hydraulic engineering research center" funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of the United States. Dr. QingHui Yuan has published 29 papers in international top hydraulics and control magazines and international conferences. He has authorized 10 US patents, has applied for 5 US patents, and has several international patents.
