On July 18, on summer holidays, principal of Zhejiang University, Professor WuZhaohui came to School of Mechanical Engineering in Yuquan Campus and visited HOME (Human-machine and Ocean Mechatronic Engineering)research team.
At 10 o'clock in the morning, Wu first inspected the on-site demonstration of the human-machine intelligent rehabilitation training exoskeleton system developed by the HOME team, including independent assisted walking lower limb rehabilitation training exoskeleton,wheelchair-type lower limb rehabilitation training Exoskeleton, upper limb rehabilitation training exoskeleton and hand rehabilitation training exoskeleton and other systems.
After-the-spot investigation, Principal Wu pointed out that the walking and wheelchair-type lower limb rehabilitation training exoskeleton system has basically met the conditions for clinical application test. The next major task is to contact the relevant affiliated hospitals of our school to further carry out clinical application test research. The actual application finds that the problem is continuously improved, and further industrialization application is implemented. The exoskeleton system for upper limb and hand rehabilitation training is also good. It is necessary to carry out the docking activities with the industrial design major of the School of Computer Science and continue to improve the shape design of the system and enter the clinical application test stage.
Then, on behalf of the HOME research team, Professor Yang Canjun reported to the President Wu the origins of the HOME team, the progress achieved in the human-machine intelligent rehabilitation training exoskeleton system and the deep-sea electromechanical equipment system.
Under the auspices of Principal Wu, School of Computer Science Professor PanGang, Li Shijian, Yang Guoqing, and Professor Yangcan Jun, ProfessorLi Dejun shared ideas on the concept of man-machine systems,human-computer interaction intelligent interface technology, extensive and in-depth communication with exoskeleton techniques. At the same time, the two sides created a WeChat group and agreed to further carry out a joint project declaration, research, academic exchanges, and other activities in the future to further promote cross-disciplinary development.
PresidentWu congratulated the HOME team on its rapid development in recent years and agreed with the development direction of the HOME team. Principal Wu finally concluded that: 1. The school will focus on promoting the strong cooperation between the colleges, encouraging the second integration of interdisciplinary subjects, especially the combination of medical and industrial and information, and promoting the research and development of pan-medical instruments and equipment. Promote the construction of clinical trial centers; 2.
