The award-winning paper focuses on the new interstage control method of multi-stage and large- flow control valves. It aims to promote the technological progress of the core components of domestic engineering machinery through independent innovation of basic components and break the monopoly of international brands on the domestic high-end hydraulic components market. Multi-stage flow valve implemented in various inter-level feedback mode to control the displacement of the pilot spool of the main spool, thereby completing the flow regulating valve through the main core, a greater level of flow control. Commoninter-stage feedback control methods are hydraulic feedback, mechanical feedback, hydraulic follow-up, and electric feedback. With the increasing demand for reliability, leakage, opening and closing dynamics and load adaptability of flow valves, the principle of multiple feedback between stages is explored, and the advantages of the above feedback methods are comprehensively utilized to overcome the reliability of a single feedback method. The limitations of spool displacement control accuracy or response speed are imperative for high-performance flow valve research. This paper focuses on the new principle and application of double feedback between flow valve stages. The topic has important academic research value and strong engineering application prospects.

During the research period, he published 5 SCI papers, 1 EI paper, and 9invention patents. In March 2017, he won the 45th GenevaInternational Invention Exhibition Gold Award.
