Brief Bio:

    Peter Shull is an Assistant Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in the School of Mechanical Engineering. He received the Ph.D. degree from Stanford University in 2012, and the M.S. degree from Stanford University in 2008. His Ph.D. research on gait retraining for knee osteoarthritis received national attention as the feature article in the United States National Science Foundation’s Science Nation titled, “Movement Retraining Can Reduce Knee Pain.” His current research interests involve the design and implementation of wearable sensing and wearable haptic feedback systems, real-time human movement training, and biomechanics.
