Abstract

As an emerging interdisciplinary field, cell 3D printing technology has attracted extensive attention due to its ability to assemble active substances such as cells/biomaterials/proteins in three-dimensional space, providing new technical means for in vitro bionic construction of complex physiological systems. Combining cell 3D printing technology with principles and techniques in the fields of microfluidic chips, micro-nano manufacturing and stem cell differentiation regulation, from printing and forming to in vitro culture - life-cycle and tissue development of cells in the whole cycle is the field One of the inevitable directions of development. The report takes the current situation and challenges of cell 3D printing technology as the starting point, combined with my own research team to develop new technologies in cell 3D printing (heterogeneous cell printing, microfluidic integrated printing, cell microsphere heterogeneous printing), stem cell 3D printing ( Research on pluripotent stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, hepatic progenitor cells , and various functional tissue constructs (fat tissue, liver tissue, tumor tissue, embryonic tissue) , and introduce and discuss strategies to address existing technology challenges To lay the foundation for the functional bionic construction of complex human tissues.

Brief Bio:

Yao Rui is a special researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University, a doctoral tutor, and a bi-base instructor at the Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University. He is a researcher at the Bio-Manufacturing Research Center. In 2010, he received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. He studied at the Robert Langer Laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT and the Kam Leong Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. With a background in training and research in a multidisciplinary field, research interests focus on the construction of biomimetic in vitro three-dimensional tissue models using bio-three-dimensional printing, cell microspheres, micro-nano manufacturing and other bio-manufacturing techniques for pathology/pharmacology/physiology Tissue model construction, in vivo regeneration repair of drug/vaccine delivery system tissues, stem cell biological development studies, drug detection and screening, and tissue repair of lesions. Hosted the National Natural Science Youth Fund, NSFC-RS International Cooperation and Exchange Project, Tsinghua University's independent research and post - doctoral first-class funds, and participated in national- level projects such as the National Natural Science Key Fund, National 863, National 973, and New Drug Creation Major Projects. item.
