April 8, 2014, the 2014 National Key Laboratory Youth Fund review meeting was held in the conference room on the 4th floor of the KeyLaboratory. The expert committee of the conference consisted of Academician Yang Huayong, Professor Wang Qingfeng, Professor KeYinglin, Professor Fu Xin, Professor Fu Jianzhong, Professor ZhangShuyou, Professor Xu Bing and Professor Mei Deqing.
The meeting conducted the 2014 Youth Fund project application defense. This year, there were 6 application projects. All the application projects were conducted on-site PPT defense and inquiry. After the experts scored without a name, 5 youth fund projects were adopted, which are "Study on Load Analysis and Load ControlTechnology of Tidal Energy Generator Sets" applied by AssociateProfessor Liu Hongwei of the Institute of Mechanical and ElectronicControl Engineering, "Study on Principles and Techniques of deep-sea Hydrothermal Temperature Power Generation" applied by associate Professor Wu Shijun, "Spiral Milling Hole ControlTechnology Research" applied by Associate Professor Fang Qiang of Modern Manufacturing EngineeringResearch Institute, "CAM/CNC Integrated Surface DirectInterpolation Mechanism and Its Key Technology Research" applied by Dr. Shen Hongjun, and “research on Distributed FlexibleTactile-Slip Sensor Array for Prosthetics” applied by WangYancheng. each of which will receive 200,000 RMB from the NationalKey Laboratory Youth Fund Project.
TheNational Key Laboratory Youth Fund Project is mainly set up for young teachers of Zhejiang University, aiming to stimulate the autonomy and creativity of the majority of young teachers in key laboratories and to support young teachers in the basic and cutting-edge exploration of relevant disciplines involved in key laboratories. research and to promote the construction of a young faculty team in the State KeyLaboratory.
