On the afternoon of July 3, 2015, Prof. Chengkuo Lee of the national university of Singapore gave a special academic report entitled“Recent Advances in MEMS/NEMS Technology” in the conference room of the hydraulic building. The report was hosted byProfessor Xie Jin. Associate Professor Yang Bin from ShanghaiJiaotong University, Associate Professor Liu Huicong from SuzhouUniversity and more than 20 graduate and undergraduate students attend the report.
Prof.Chengkuo Lee introduced the history of microsystem technology with the familiarity and concern of the “Internet of Things”.After that, Professor Lee introduced the current research content and direction of the team, including generating ultrasonic sensor dielectric material, an energy harvester based on UHF Metamaterial(THz stage) and systems for administering medical health industry. At the same time, he also shared his views on the development direction of microsystem technology from his professional perspective: new functions, continued miniaturization, no power consumption, the integration will become the direction of future scientific research and technology industrialization.
In the final interactive session, the speaker and the audience had a heated discussion, and the academic atmosphere was strong.
